Dave has been providing individuals and businesses with financial counsel for over 20 years.  He began his career as a tax planning consultant with a global “big four” accounting firm, where he provided strategies related to corporate and income tax reduction, stock options and qualified plans to individuals and businesses.  Dave also served a regional firm in the DFW area providing tax planning and comprehensive financial planning services, where he had responsibility for monitoring and oversight of nearly one-hundred million dollars in assets.  Having a practical and experiential understanding of the tax law and its implications helps Dave provide appropriate and more complete advice to his clients.

As a complement to financial planning and advisement services, Dave devotes significant time to assisting non-profit organizations best steward their assets by providing CFO-level counsel and management services.  In this regard, Dave and family previously served in East Asia for seven years.

Dave currently lives in Waco, Texas with his wife, Kristen, and children, Katelyn, Anna and Ben.  Dave and his family are members of Highland Baptist Church, and he has led the Crown Financial Ministries small group a number of times over the years, where he greatly enjoys encouraging others in practicing good stewardship.

Dave also appreciates the outdoors, disc golf, reading and a good laugh.
